What an exciting time to be an artist. We are entering an atmosphere where renaissance can unfold. We are witnessing ai create art, content, music, and films alongside those very same things created by human eyes, hands, ears, mouths, and minds. Art is losing the one thing I never imagined it could: humanity.
I believe that now is the time when human error, flaw, and mistake can infuse soul back into art. I want to believe that there are pieces of the human experience that are uniquely ours, and cannot be replicated by machine.
Real life is too sweet. Too bittersweet, simply to fabricate it for the small screen. We must continue to live fully in our own lives. To savor them. To never forget that we once had time to make and do beautiful things slowly, with skill, and with intention.
Life is not meant to be perfect or redundant. Life should be messy, impertinent, and full of love, sweetness, and joy.
If you are looking for guidance on how to bring your stories to life in this digital space, I am teaching my Art of Digital Storytelling workshop online tomorrow (March 2, 2026) and would love to have you. You can register or learn more about the workshop HERE
Be well. And be real.
